Finally Android 4.4 KitKat Has Arrived

With lots of promises finally Android 4.4 KitKat has arrived. With the launch of new Nexus 5, Google made this version of Android live on 31st of October-2013. With more polished design, improved performance, and lots of new features release of Android 4.4 KitKat is definitely a great news for Android fans. This version is yet not available for all the devices, only current Nexus devices, including the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, will probably be getting the software soon.  As per the announcement made on Google+ by Google Android 4.4 KitKat is now available for Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10. Improved Voice Search Feature

Awesome Voice Search Feature. You don’t need to touch the screen for calling, texting or anything else. When on your home screen or in Google Now, just say “Ok Google” . It will launch Voice Search. From there you can call someone, text someone, get directions, play media files and much more.

Multitasking more faster

Multitasking is always most desirable feature for a smartphone user. Faster performance is always awarded. With Android 4.4 KitKat multitasking becomes more faster than ever before. You can play music while surfing the internet, play high flying games with much faster experience.

Smart Caller ID

No need to worry about calls from unknown number. The Smart caller ID feature of Android 4.4 KitKat will attempt to search from businesses listed on Google Map to match the unknown number. Thus without having the number on your contacts list, you will be able to track the caller.

Artwork Feature

When you’re listening to music, or streaming movies to Chromecast, you’ll now get full-screen album artwork or movie art on your lockscreen behind the play, pause buttons.

Till now, Android 4.4 KitKat is available for Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012,2013) and Nexus 10. But as promised by Google it will be soon released for Nexus 4 and mobile data-equipped Nexus 7 models. All other third party OEMs have to wait a little.
